Sustainable Tourism in Repulse Bay, Hong Kong

Filip Piket was born on 22 November 1999. He has double Dutch and Croatian citizenship. Filip speaks fluent English, has a good command of Dutch and Croatian and is learning French. At the moment he is in Grade 10 of the Canadian International School of Hong Kong which uses the IB curriculum. Previously he lived in Malaysia, Belgium, Russia and Slovenia. As pastimes, Filip enjoys tennis and sailing, which he does around Repulse Bay, where he lives. He also enjoys playing strategic video games and reads a lot. 

 

He began this project around May 2014, when he was in the second semester of Grade 9 and worked on it throughout the summer. He chose the project theme because he is very interested in environmental policy and quality of life. In general he is worried that unsustainable economic growth will damage the ecosystem for good.
